PPP have added Kodak NX to their range of Conventional, HD and Full HD polymer plates. The Kodak advanced screening technology is a perfect system to run alongside our own, advanced, Fusion workflows and with these in place PPP can compete with offset for labels and gravure for flexible packaging. Our aim, with the development of Fusion, was to produce a plate/sleeve that could produce the best possible print result for Flexo. The basis of these objectives were: Cleaner (and more consistent) print • Great ink laydown and density • Great highlights (fade to zero) • Higher screen rulings • Sharper text and images • Fixed Palette opportunities • Offer our clients cost savings • Available on both flat plate and sleeve.

Precise control of colour helps to manage the clients expectations of the final print. PPP services include press profiling, press predicted proofing, press pass attendance, GMG proofs on paper, clear and metallic substrates, contone and dot proof and fixed palette.

Fixed palette printing is the process of working with a common set of inks to produce a desired print result. It can provide increased productivity, reduced costs and reduced waste. By expanding the gamut of the CMYK process inks, we are able to reproduce more colours from the PANTONE library by between 25% and 50%.
